With so many “ideals of beauty” being forced upon us and marketed to us each and every day it has become increasingly difficult to feel secure and happy in one’s own skin.
Throwing back again to some time ago… June 2017 to be exact. And that day I had the pleasure of looking after the lovely bride Petra and her bridal party at The York and Albany.
It was a SCORCHING hot day but thankfully the venue was well ventilated and we had air con!
It was a crisp October morning as I made my way to The Waldorf Hilton in central London to look after the gorgeous bride, Emma, and her bridal party back in 2017.

Sociolinguist Albert Mehrabian did a bit of research into communication and discovered that 7% of a verbal message comes from the words used, 38% comes from the vocal tone, pacing and inflexion and a whopping 55% of the message is transmitted by appearance and body language.
Back in October 2016 I had an enquiry land in my inbox from the lovely Valentina and 10 months later I was on my way to The Sheraton, Park Lane to look after this special lady and her lovely mother, Jacqueline, for the big day!
Today I’m taking a trip down memory lane to the May bank holiday 2017 where I spent the entire day at Syon Park looking after the bride Shakeela for not just 1, not even 2, but 3 hair and makeup changes for her special day.
